Falling

I dream about falling a lot and I remember them so vividly, especially that moment where all control is lost and inevitably, the process of falling ensues. I remember the precise moment before impact where everything becomes too real, and then seamlessly reality appears suddenly. Afterwards for a brief moment, reassurance settles in after awakening. For this series, my goal was to find that very moment before impact to recreate a familiar sense of helplessness and weightlessness. Because that moment feels unnervingly genuine, I wanted to explore the concept of distinguishing dreams from reality.
